PG Workshops

The State of Georgia requires registration for Professional Geologists and that involves passing two National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG)  exams: The Fundamentals of Geology examination and the Practice of Geology examination. To assist candidates in their preparations for these tests, the Atlanta Geological Society offers monthly workshops featuring speakers who review important geologic principles. Two Professional Development Hours are available for attendees of classes.

Applications should be submitted 75 days before the exam dates.  Any errors, missing info, etc. will significantly impede the application’s progress.
